Most kick boxers can't punch! The purpose of puncing is different in kick boxing, different technique and tactics. There's not a lot of carry over.

The kick boxers who can punch usually can't kick as well as they can punch, so change.

    It's kickboxing, not box kicking.

Didn't Vitali fail a drug test kick boxing?

Il bet my house he wins every fookin fight until he retires even at 41! Look kickboxing is something i know about and vitali was a good kickboxer but he never fought anyone of note really, no one great anyway, he fought in the lower ranking bodies and never won any major honours or any of the MAJOR world titles, nor did he fight in K1! Being a multiple world champ in kickboxing sounds impressive but there are many organisations in which you can win belts, and many non great fighters have took a belt or two, vitali was a good kickboxer but he is not considered a great in kickboxing....who knows though had he stuck at the sport rather than chose HW boxing! He is the kind of athlete who would have been great at any combat sport, watching him in K1 would have been interesting and watching the warrior that is vitali klitschko go up against the likes of the great peter aerts, cikatic, hoost and kaman would have been interesting!!

Secondly pele reid was not a great kicboxer either, in fact he was pretty average, he was also beat by the likes of julius francis and orlin norris in boxing! Like i said if you want see a great kickboxer see rob kaman or branko cikatic.

Alexey ignashov etc would have made great HW boxers too.

I don't care how big, strong and tough you are. You're not going to take a flush spinning kick to the chin and stay conscious.

LOL. So what? Maskaev stopped VK in the amateurs! Kickboxing is not even the same sport, so who cares? Michael Jordan didn't look so hot as a baseball player either, but it doesn't affect his legacy as a basketballer.

Wake me when you find footage of someone knocking VK out in a boxing ring, something that happened many moons ago in a kickboxing competition is not relevant.

Someone post the fight where Orlin Norris kayoed Pele Reid in 1 round. That has relevance on here.

The hatred on SB for K2 is astounding and quite pitiful really. I could understand it if they were just 'a flash in the pan' but it's been a decade of dominance now. Haters are getting old.
