People need to stop acting like Jones is a bad fighter now cause they are pissed.
he overpowered Rampage Jackson at Light Heavyweight but Sonnen would toss him around? The same Sonnen that got handled by Michael Bisping? Don't be dumb.
A Machida rematch is a lot harder than a Sonnen fight for Jones to be honest.
Hate when a fighter does something other people don't like they start acting like the fighter sucks all of a sudden.
Dan Henderson went life or death with Shogun Rua the same Shogun Rua that Jon Jones completely decimated on about a month's notice. So yeah, get real people.
I understand you're pissed, but saying "This guy aint a fighter" or going all "Jon Jones sucks now" just shows your ignorance of the game and shows you're speaking out of hate and not knowledge.
If you actually thought about it, saying Jon Jones "ain't a fighter" or that he "sucks now" is probably the stupidest thing that can come out of a fans mouth.
Fighting and destroying Shogun Rua on less than a month's notice isn't "champion" enough? So he fights Shogun on less than a months notice for the title and destroys him but people try to act like he's scared of Sonnen, you didn't say that though. He tossed around Rampage Jackson like a ragdoll but Sonnen is gonna over power him? rightLike I said, you didn't say that.
But people that do are hilarious.

A real fighter takes fights when there given to him. Guy's like Chris Leben, Leanard Garcia, Chael Sonnen. Guy's who'll take any fight given to them. Those guy's are real fighters. Jones just wants his pay check.
If Chael would be such an easy fight why didn't he take it...why did Greg Jackson say it would be the biggest mistake of his career...![]()

I don't think Chael makes it three rounds against Jones but in all fairness he has MUCH better wrestling and takedowns than Rampage and I'd pick him to UD Quinton.
Most bad government has grown out of too much government. Thomas Jefferson
To many damn expensive ppvs a month anyways. Jon Jones made the right move and when he beats Belfort everybody will be back on the wagon.
Jones is one of the best p4p in the world (top 3) and will likely be on top for a LONG time.
That being said, I can't stand this guy. Like someone else said, another cocky douche who thinks he's bigger than the sport.
Having your opponent changed a week out sucks, everyone knows that, but if you're the champ and one of the faces of the company you've gotta man up and do the right thing. Especially when its a company who made you a star and supported you after you got drunk and wrecked your BMW with two women in it.
Even Anderson Silva, who has been notoriously tricky for the UFC to deal with, offered to step up and fight at 205lbs on a weeks notice to save the event.
Jones is just an unlikable douche.
