Although I respect the venom snakes can inject, for the most part I have no fear of them, here in East Texas, the most predominate poisonous snake is the water moccasin (cotton mouth) followed by the Copperhead. Neither snake is normally aggressive, typically people will inadvertently corner these snakes or accidentally step on them, if they're bitten.
From personal observation, these snakes will generally move away from you if given a chance, I usually just leave them be, unless there's kids or pets around.
BTW, i'm very conscious of my surroundings, the chances of me stepping on a poisonous snake are slim.

I fucking hate monkeys) a dog or two still love dogs, the odd woman,them too, march flies, sea lice, jelly fish and a blue tongued lizard. And a Lawyer here put the bite on me for a days work for me and my laborer the asshole.
