Going the distance seems to not be that big of a deal for em, which of course points to the road work. But what about breathing? I'm guessing there's a certain way to breathe that allows people like Jfat to last 12 rounds (even though he fights for a minute of every round, he still lasts the full 12). Is it exhaling when you throw, holding your breath while you flury?

Thx in advance
I wound never hold my breath.
pray to god some one doesn't slip your shot and hit you in the stomach then... you also throw more explosive combos and throw harder shots when the abdominen and intercostals are contracted... pump your abs out and try to take a deep breath, smooth and comfortable? thought not :P

in totally non scientific terms it helps you excert force from your body, that why us boxers make some stupid noises... :P

You don't need oxygen during punching, just after... thats why fighters tie each other up, move in and out of range etc to breath.
