A bit of controversy as Gonzalez comes in 9 lbs over the 154 ( Jr. Mid) limit.
Its one thing when a old veteran fails to make weight by a couple pounds, sometimes the body just can't do what it used to. But holly shit your making your hbo debut and come in 12 pounds over at initial weigh in, that isn't even trying, glad to hear he surendered half his purse. I'm surprised dzin stayed in the fight, couldn't blame him if he had said fuck that
Gonzalez doesn't look bigger, just fatter, and so far I don't see much talent there.

Well alright. Cheers fellas. If I'm not mistaken Gonzalez was the slug who came in 16 lbs overweight on FNF last year. He doesn't deserve HBO "status"
HBO should have told him no dice tubby. All that on camera haggling and dealing makes it sound like a backroom low level poker house. Way to many "prospects" doing this slacker bs now.
Ledderman has it even 38-38 after 4.
neither fighter looks very impressive.
Dzinziruk's biggest problem is he lacks one punch KO power, Gonzalez walks right through his punches.
Dzinziruk's only hope seems to be trying to tire gonzales out...but he isn't moving enough
or applying enough pressure
This shouldn't have been a 12 rounder, 10 rounds would have been plenty for a non-title bout, especially this one. Ledderman has Gonzalez winning this fight by a round after 9. 86-85
