He clinched 3rd in the world by getting to the final

I said to a friend at work, the best thing that happened to Murray this year was losing the Wimbledon final to Roger. It seems to have made him buck his ideas up, and winning Gold over Roger at the Olympics has helped raise his game no-end. It was a big step from getting to the final of a Slam to actually winning one. Now he has made that step I wouldnt rule it out him winning many more.

Roger will be out the game in a year or two, doesn't look like Rafa is ever gonna come back with those dodgy knees, which leaves just Novak and Andy to battle it out for the for-seeable future.
