Ward chose to slow down.

Wrong!! Ward was all over the place when froch caught him with a jab in like the tenth round. In round 12 froch was jogging to close the gap and ward was running like dirrell.

What a nuthugger. Try that again without ignoring that Ward had been fighting with a broken hand for many rounds at that point. Even putting that aside, no one outside of British nuthuggers thinks the Froch fight was remotely close. The guy has a big heart and takes every challenge and deserves huge respect for that -- but he is and always has been a very crude fighter. Would Ward have been dominated for 10 rounds by Jermain Taylor? Don't think so.

In Ward, Froch came up against a guy who had just as much heart, will to win, and confidence as he did, but had world-class talent to boot. Same result every time.
