In defence of that amazing site, they spend so much time digging up brilliant information IMO you can forgive them a (very) flawed formula for working out their all-time list.

Anyway just looked; they have Henry Armstrong as their #1 all-time Welter; Pryor is their all-time #1 140lber, which would make sense to some (not me).

If kostya tszyu is retired, without bias id have to say he is the best 140 champ ever. The guy dominated a division for nearly 10 yrs, hes up there with pryor.

LOL Boxrec does have some questionable rankings....But they sure are damn good when it comes to info..I have seen them update a fighters record only an hour after the fight....Everyone knows Ray Robinson is the greatest 147lb fighter ever...Thats where he made his legacy.....But Pryor was tough as hell not the best but tough as hell and should be ranked amoung the best....I think someone said he was ranked #1 at 140? I dont see that either but hey I can forgive them for stuff like that seeing how much other stuff I and other people rely on them for info

Id have Robinson(he was unbeatable at welterweight...UNBEATABLE!), Leonard, Whitaker(defensive master!), Duran and my last...dont know. But i dont think Pryor fought often at welterweight did he? I thought he was mostly a jr welterweight.

No, most of his fights as a pro were at Lightweight, and I believe along with some others, he peaked as a Lightweight.

Aaron moved up to 140lbs to get a title shot, as everyone was avoiding him at Lightweight.
