Paul williams condition

Has anyone got any other info on paul williams condition? Reports seem to say the doctors say he will never walk or box again but paul is obviously in denial and hopes to prove them wrong.
Paul is a great fighter and a great person and i hope he overcomes these conditions but physically is there any chance of this and have people overcome this type of injury before.

Williams seemed certain about his condition in the interview with Grey. What ever happens, I like the way he's dealing with it, sometimes denial gives the mind a chance to catch up with reality without blowing it's gaskets. I hope he walks again, at least.

There was an inspirational interview with Paul Williams on the Showtime broadcast before the main event. Williams stated that Doctor's told him they simply don't know if he can ever walk again and that his spinal cord was "bruised" but NOT severed or broken.

He firmly believes he will walk again in the next 2 years as that is the rough estimate he was given for possible recovery.

He also was in good spirits and joking and said he will live his life even if he cannot walk again.

I wasn't a big PW fan when he was fighting. I saw the interview last night and his enthusiasm won me over.

That interview knocked ya back for a minute. It was great. With a mindset and positive drive like that he's already ahead. He firmly believes he'll walk again and forget the ring but for Williams the man, I hope he is absolutely right.

I can't get over how enthusiastic and full of life the man is. I always loved to watch him fight, but the man just doesn't give in no matter what kind of fight. Great chap.

I truly hope he makes a full recovery. Amazing person it showed in that interview he still smiles at life despite it all. I know he's a smart man he invested his money well and will one day walk again I pray.

Yes that is where I saw him too but did not know about the interview. Paziensa came back from a broken neck so with Pauls positive attitude he should be able to walk again I hope.

It was great to see that his spirits are still up. I hope he does walk again someday. I like how he said he already has one problem, so why have two problems by being depressed.
