As I said before, you manipulate data to suit your stupid arguments!
I speak the truth that is what irks you! What have i manipulated? You have been given facts!

Mercado beat Hopkins in his first pro fight you complete buffoon..What bearing does that have on his fight with RJJ?
Mercado DREW with hopkins in hopkins 29th pro fight! Are u stupid? (I think u are confusing mercado with cintron mitchell!) The bearing it has is thus: Hopkins at that point in his career was beatable as evidenced by mercado decking him twice a year later and fighting to a draw (I thought mercado had done enough to get the decision!) Also note hopkins was rated around #8 (Not #1) at the time and it was hardly a BEATDOWN was it? Jones just ran for 12 rounds in a close (5 rounds to 7) fight!

I don't know, where were those fighters that you mentioned? Was Roy truly at fault for not fighting them or did everybody just want to sit happily in their backyards? In which case it would have been their fault because Roy was the top guy.
I think u will find that dariusz was linear/ring mag champ at LHW from 97-03.

If he was Welsh like Calzaghe or German like dariusz he would be bashed from the same people who praise him now! De La Hoya IMO was the greatest fighter of the 90's not jones! Plus he got his guts spilt by journeyman johnson and roid freak nobody tarver, Calzaghe was outboxing undefeated lacy and kessler!

Calzaghe may or may not have beat Toney but again, as always with Calzaghe it can only be a "he would have.." scenario.
    Obviously:

Also the schoolboy thing...? I don't get it - you started mocking my grammar when there was nothing wrong with it. Good one clever clogs. Maybe you just like schoolboys? Keep that shit to yourself.
    Won't even dignify that....

Finally, only Greenbeanz has the right to use the picture of me in my avatar against me..and it's designer swimwear, jackass, not a thong
Why do u coat yourself in wood stain?

So much nonsense to address, but that one stood out the most.... too laughable refute... Have you ever seen the film "Stephen King's Cat's Eye" the one where the little TROLL constantly tries to steal Drew Barrymore's breath while she sleeps?

No i don't watch stephen king films or read his books i am far too busy and educated. I prefer a little chomsky and maybe a david lean epic...

The jones/dariusz linear thing is disputed 'Disputed undisputed champions' to this day...Roy Jones Jr. was promoted as the undisputed light heavyweight champion by HBO after unifying the WBA, WBC and IBF titles in June 1999, for which he was also awarded The Ring championship title in 2002. However, two of those belts (WBA and IBF) had been stripped from Dariusz Michalczewski, who had unified them with his WBO title by beating the Lineal champion Virgil Hill in June 1997, and subsequently remained unbeaten, defending his remaining belt until 2004.

Speaking of Jones' claim to being undisputed champion, one writer opined that the distinction "could just as easily belong to current WBO titlist Dariusz Michalczewski."

The new line of LINEAR LHW CHAMP began with hill defeating maske, dariusz then defeated hill!

Roy Jones would have beaten Darius, who was a decent fighter, but not as great as Jones. Roy Jones stopped Hill and beat Gonzales easily, the same Gonzales that eventually beat Dariuz.

Chomsky is possibly the most overrated intellectual ever.

His theories on language acquisition are almost as dumb as those of his fawning bitch and fellow dullard Stephen Pinker.

RJJ is not the greatest fighter ever

    Neither is JC

Martinez is very good but not the best either

Give the man a break though

His behaviour and dignity outside the ring is exemplary, he is a clever boxer and fun to watch, and is a credit to the sport.

He will be missed when Golovkin Knocks him out

This thread has become quite unusual. I agree that Calzaghe is the greatest fighter to have ever fought at SMW. I love Toney and Hopkins less so, but Calzaghe would never have had serious problems with either. Also, pretty cool that somebody else likes to read Chomsky.

Chomsky would destroy RJJ at LHW. Reflexes only take you so far when you are dealing with a man who laughs in the face of behaviourism.
