Floyd is about three times as fast as Baldomir and I think most people agree that--while he wouldn't KO Baldomir (or even knock him down), he'd probably win every single round of that fight. The main reason people seemed to be calling for that fight was because Baldomir "deserved" it, for being the linear, true WW champ. But even once Baldomir won the title, no one wanted PBF to fight him. RAther, it wasn't until Baldomir beat Gatti that people wanted a Floyd fight--which makes no sense to me at all. How beating Arturo Gatti--who's lost like half of his last 15 fights--legitimizes anyone (especially someone who is already the division champ) at this stage is beyond me.

I'm not saying that Spinks is the best fight out there, but he's at least got the speed and technique to give Floyd some trouble for the first 5 rounds or so. I don't see Baldomir winning a single round.

I would rather see Floyd fight Hatton or Margarito, if for no other reason than to shut people up.
Nicely put and I agree CC. Still I dont have much interest in either PBF vs. Baldomir or Spinks..
