Amazing. Just shows how shabby thıngs are ın that dıvısıon as these guys jump up and dust themselves off thınkıng they have a decent chance to do somethıng agaın agaınst Father Tıme. I'll route for Hasım, I met hım ın Newark, NJ back ın 1999, he ıs a really nıce guy, got hıs autograph and he even "punched" me wıth a jokıng "kıdney shot" he saıd as he dıd ıt and we both laughed pretty hard. Just another pointless heavyweight fight, there are so many now.

Povetkin is not a massive puncher, does not seem to have much stamina, and is not a great boxer. Other than that he is nearly average. He is still out of breath during the interview.

U forgot a multiple gold medallist and and still undefeated as a pro too...

Should he have fought wlad? Of course! Pulev is up next for wlad so who cares...

    Povetkin would beat prime rahman.

Nah, not a chance, I hate Rahman but he has beaten way better fighters than Povetkin in his prime.

Lol that makes it look like I said the complete opposite of what I actually said. In reality Povetkin would struggle with a bowl of ramen noodles.

We're gunna have to disagree on povetkin, As i said: A multiple gold medallist, still undefeated, yet to taste canvas, consistantly fought world class fighters (unlike the americans who are yet to fight anyone meaningful!) beat camarelle numerous times as an amateur!

Rahmans claim to fame is his flash KO of lewis (lewis made easy work of him 2nd time round) and stopping sanders after being beaten the snot out of! Typical sanders, ill conditioned and gassed! I don't really see it as he beat lewis therefore he has an automatic right to be favourite vs povetkin in a prime for prime scenario...by that logic buster douglas and brewster would beat him too! In reality they wouldn't!

Povetkin has only yet looked vulnerable vs huck (who is a very good and durable operator anyway! most of hucks opponents look bad against him and he is rarely in a boring fight!) However povetkin was trainerless in that fight yet he still won! Kosty tszyu is now preparing povetkin and he looked back on form last night, in truth only a handful of Hw's in the world would beat povetkin and 2 of those are called klitschko! With regards to wlad i think the fight is gunna happen now...

Povetkin: I would like to fight Klitschko

As opposed to mid 40's foreman fighting in the 90's....

Or 50 yr old moore in the 60's...

I don't think a late 30's former champ is anything new in boxing do u? A 100% fit multiple gold medallist like Povetkin would have beaten any version of rahman just like ruiz, holy and maskaev did! Sorry. Rahman was turned into the elephant man by a 40 yr old holy (byrd and donald schooled holy!) Povetkin is better than maskaev ever was! Povetkin is better than rahman at any age! Training issues are povetkins main problem, his ability is clear!

Isn't it about time america produced a HW champ now it's been nearly 2 decades U do a lot of bitching but about the division yet seem incapable of producing someone to rectify it! Oh wait NFL......What next? Transexual judo?

Feed seth mitchell to sasha next....

Seth Mitchell, Cris Arreola, Deontay Wilder, Joe Hanks....those guys would blast Povetkin out of the ring! Hell Eddie Chambers fought the guy tooth & nail without throwing many punches and you're talking shit like this?!?!?! Get the fuck outta here with that garbage

I guess what I'm trying to say is....Povetkin needs to stop being such a massive pussy and fight Wladimir. and by "fight" I mean get his ass kicked. Povetkin talked a big game about 4 years ago, showing up to Klitschko press conferences and shit, but what happened? Where did that desire to fight Wlad go I think it must have faded out about the time when Wlad started looking unbeatable
