As was mentioned before, Ali outweighed Marciano by almost 40 pounds, had a 4-inch advantage in height, and far outreached Rocky. The physical differences alone are significant. Add to that the difference in speed, which Ali clearly had over Rocky... and it's not a reach to say Ali would beat him. Don't forget Ali had a pretty good chin, also.
It's not a knock on Marciano... it's just two different eras of boxing. By the same token, would Ali sweep through the Tysons, the Lewises, and the Klitschkos? Most likely not. Different eras... different sizes of heavyweights.
Picking Ali over Marciano is neither a slight on Marciano, nor an enshrinement of Ali.
EXCELLENT POINTS. NO I DONT TAKE IT FOR EXAMPLE JUST ME MYSELF---I DONT TAKE IT AS A SLIGHT ON rOCKY WHEN CONSIDERING THAT aLI WOULD BEAT HIM ---NO WAY--ACTUALLY ı FEEL THEY ARE IN 2 DIFFERENT DIVISIONS ENTIRELY---40 POUNDS DIFF AS YOU SAY IS TRULY AN UNFAIR FIGHT. ALİ CXOULD VERY WELL HAVE BEATEN HIM. BUT I THINK THEY WERE TOUGHER IN ROCKY'S DAY. HE JUST COULDNT UNDERSTAND WHAT IT WAS TO LOSE. HE WOULD FIND A WAY. LIKE HE ALWAYS DID. YES HE IS BEHIND IN ALL CATEGORIES---BUT NOT CONDITIONING, NOT WILL TO WIN, NOT DETERMINATION, NOT TOUGHNESS, AND NOT POWER IN BOTH HANDS.
I'll give you power and I agree with your main point but Ali had the conditioning, determination, toughness in him too but above that he has the skill.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
