I believe he's pissed off at his promoter and is having contract issues trying to switch promotion companies.

It may be that Gamboa, like Oldanier Solis has had a taste of the good life and lost some of his dedication as well.

Hope not as Gamboa is awesomely talented and I would like to see him back in the ring very soon. Long overdue.
