Roberto Duran clear UD or late stoppage depending on if its 12 or 15 rounds.

Roberto Duran by stoppage....good defense on the inside, good counter punching, solid chin, I think Duran would have an easy time.

Agreed at lightweight very few fighters could beat Duran if at all. At the higher weight of welterweight then Manny has more chance and has fought consistently better at the higher weights. However the Duran that beat Leonard may have beaten Manny because if Leonard was not keeping Duran off then Manny would not be able to either.

Morales vs Duran man that would be an awesome fight

Sugar Ray Leonard vs De la hoya

Tyson vs Ali .... Or Tyson Vs Marciano or Marciano vs Ali (This one most intrigues me because of pure names)

Duran at lightweight is close to unbeatable and Morales was better at featherweight, but it would be an exciting bout as both men were rarely in dull fights.

SRL vs ODH is a toughy, but I'm going with Leonard due to his speed and ability to win rounds and win late rounds vs top class opponents.

Now I'm certain I'll get hell for this but I don't see Tyson doing much better than Floyd Patterson vs Ali. Sonny Liston had the Tyson attitude & Patterson had the fighting style and rolled up together they couldn't force Ali to have a tough fight. Tyson vs Marciano would be decent for as long as it lasted, those guys never backed down they would plow forward through almost anything. Tyson probably wins on shear size & an edge in handspeed but Rocky was one tough SOB and he'd fight anyone as hard as he could.

Here are some off the radar hypotheticals for everyone:

    Riddick Bowe vs Donovan Ruddock

    Ron Lyle vs Frank Bruno

Diego Corrales vs Ricky Hatton (@140)

    Carl Froch vs Steve Collins

    Bernard Hopkins vs Chris Eubank

I've seen Duran's Lightweight bouts, it's like watching a caged animal being released on a lowly human! I've seen Duran's chin too, sad to say that The Pac Man may not even have a puncher's chance with prime lightweight Duran!

What about Duran vs Mosley at lightweight? There'd be no stopping either guy, it would be all about who had what in the tank.

or Mosley vs Trinidad at Welterwight? Would Mosley's chin hold up?

    Nice list

Bowe vs Ruddock would be a classic, either could fold. Think Bowe has enough class to take it more times than not. Ruddock is probably the more erratic.

Diego Corrales vs Ricky Hatton (@140) in reality probably a bit of a miss match. Hatton by TKO rounds 5-8

Ron Lyle vs Frank Bruno... Poor Frank

Carl Froch vs Steve Collins, Carl. Noting spectacular about the fight, just Carl.

Bernard Hopkins vs Chris Eubank. Chris wouldn't know what to do with Bernard, quite a clear UD (unless it was in England).

I think Shane vs Duran would be amazing. That said, Shane was never as slick as Ray Leonard but IMO I think he was a bit more rough than SRL....I just don't see how Shane outmuscles or out hustles Duran. I think Whittaker or Benny Leonard are the only guys with a shot at Duran at lightweight, he was just that special.

Mosley vs Trinidad is a fight I ALWAYS wanted to happen and honestly I don't know how it ends up. Tito had big power, but could he land like Vernon Forrest did or keep covered like Winky Wright. Shane is quicker than Vargas was and had a better chin...it's a really good matchup.

Nunn vs. Ward - I would take Nunn on this one. Just think he would give Ward problems with his style.

    agree with this

    Vitaly vs. Holmes -
Vitali beats Holmes at his own game due 2 having d better "tools" 4 it

"Chocolatito" Gonzalez vs. "Finito" Lopez - I think Gonzalezs aggressiveness would give him the edge in the 1st few rounds until Lopez settled in and began to counter. Lopez win.

Lopez 2 unproven 2b even favored over Gonzalez if u meant Humberto

    Valero vs. Escalera -
    IDK
    Hopkins vs. Saad Muhammad -
IDK , since Saad was usually if not always drained @ d weight

    Wilfred Benitez vs. Pacquiao -
    Izzy vs. Gomez -
    JMM vs. Arguello -
    IDK*3

    Pavlik vs. Antuofermo -
4 some reason Pavlik would have been 2 much 4 him
    Spinks vs. Calzaghe -
Spinks 4 just being way 2 big , and Calzaghe would not have taken it anyway

    Pryor vs. Bradley -
IDK , but Bradley is slightly more proven and actually less of a hypejob even if he still has a lot what 2 prove

James Toney vs Floyd Patterson (@175 & heavyweight)

    Michael Dokes vs Chris Byrd

    Oleg Maskaev vs Andrew Golota

    Hasim Rahman vs Tommy Morrison

    Bob Foster vs Bernard Hopkins

Duran vs Mosley would of been awesome, two of the best at lightweight. It be a close fight but I simply can't pick against Duran lol.

Mosley vs Trinidad I honestly think that Mosley wins this fight easy. Trinidad was a good puncher but if De La Hoya out boxed him I feel Mosley would too. Mosley had trouble with fighters like Forrest and Wright but never hesitated with power punchers with inferior boxing skills to his. Mosley by UD

I don't think anybody stands up to Duran at lightweight either. Probably the most dominant fighter ever at a specific weight. Mosley-Trinidad.... I've always been a huge Mosley fan also... but I don't think it's a done deal he'd beat Trinidad. Mosley had trouble consistently with Forrest, and Trinidad hit harder than Forrest. Intriguing matchup.

The only people I see challenging him are the likes of Gans, Leonard, Armstrong and Floyd at 135.
