He was interviewed after the Biggs fight with King and they both said that Holmes did a 15 roumd exhibition in front of King to prove he was still fit. This exhibition was before the Biggs fight and that was 3 months before hos fight with Tyson! In total he was in training for this fight probably at least 15 weeks! As for the time out, Mayweather was out longer when he fought Marquez.
