The man Emmanuel Steward did more for the wide eyed kids and aspiring young men yearning to be a Champion in this sport than any redundant belt ever could have! Your real wins as a professional fighter started in the sweltering Kronk gym well before you even stepped between the ropes for the first time with him in your ear.

He was a trainer and a commentator, but more so he was boxing! And he was ours and helped make us fans. I'll miss him in this sport, greatly. Be at peace Manny and thank you!

Now that Manny's death has been confirmed, just wanted to say, that this seemed sudden and unexpected. It's sad day for boxing, Steward was respected by fans all over the world, and he'll be remembered for a long time after his passing.
