You might like Walsh, but Frank Warren sure as hell doesn't! Walsh will not be undefeated after this fight, unless it's fixed.
A close decision either way would insure a rematch, maybe two somewhere down the road.
Maybe Walsh is getting a nice payday and future considerations for saying bye bye to his zero. Boxer's purses are secret in the UK.
Conspiracy theroies are like mother's milk in the USA, but something really does stink about this Warren decision. What do you think? What am I missing?

I agree with those who say this fight doesn't make much sense, but y'know what, heavily-unfancied outsiders getting a shot, there's a certain romance to that (sometimes, not when it's just bums getting knocked out).
Walsh isn't a bum, he's just been given a shot above his level. I don't find it that much sillier than some of the fights our lads have landed in the States over the last year or two.
Good luck to Walsh. It's 99% likely he'll lose, but if Burns' promoters couldn't make the fights they wanted then a bout like this does no harm, it just doesn't prove much.
Burns by early stoppage.
