Big Mab fan here but Hamed was a freak with those welterweight legs and power from the weirdest angles.

After i watched the barrera fight i truly believe he was out boxed and beaten.

Could naz have done anything differently in that fight and why was there no rematch?

I don't think so. I think Mab beats him 10 out of 10. Just a bad style matchup. No rematch because Hamed went into hiding, fought Calvo and retired.

The late manny steward mentioned after the fight that naz refused to watch barrera last fights on dvd and did not prepare properly for the fight.

Many of the greatest fighters throughout history either never had footage to watch or chose not to watch it. Nothing like studying a guy's style and relegating the camp around that and then a diiferent fighter shows up. Many greats preferred to adjust in the ring.

What is your opinion of this fight and was this naz biggest fight and why could he not cope with barrera..

Good fight. The ring entrance for Hamed was a little long in the tooth but it was a pugilistic tutorial. Hamed was used to fighting the Kelly's and Sanchez's of the world who believed they could stand and trade.

Thank you.
Although I didn't like him very much, at the time I wish he would have stayed on and recovered from his personal loss from that fight. His ego was his downfall.
