It used to worry me when i was a kid but now I'm not really bothered.

I don't want to Die but its gonna happen to us all so I'm not gonna worry about something I have no control over.

I don't want to tempt fate but my own death does not concern me anywhere near as much as the thought of loved-one's deaths.

I just dont want to have to come back here again. I hope its my last visit, 3d is somewhat restrictive, its better than 2d or 1d though.

Son is afraid of death and constantly on about cancer, poisonous snakes, diseases in foreign countries if we travel abroad.

I do fear death but want to build a huge legacy for my kids and the next generation but in order to do that I have to live life to its full and that means not always thinking about money.

We could turn this thread around and ask how would you want to die. Manny Steward had his family around him and they were singing. That sounds like a pleasant way to go but i would want to be 112 years old at the time.

I am more concerned with family members leaving me. I have been lucky that I haven't lost many relatives in my life so far but I know as I get older it's more likely to happen and it scares me not knowing how i will deal with it.

I don't think about myself dying very often but I find this very weird....If I have been drinking on a Saturday night (for example) and I have a bad hang over on the Sunday, when I finally go to bed that night I can't help thinking about dying and it terrifies me to the point I have to get up and watch tv to take my mind off it. I have no idea why but I find it strange it only happens with a hangover.

This the same for anyone else?

    Great cheerful thread

Simply because alcohol is a depressant I'd say. Same for me.
Get yourself some beta blockers from the doctor (you may need to lie), take one in the morning when hungover and go on to have a good day.

I used to have an irrational fear death when I was a kid, but the older i've gotten, I just see death as inevitable, so I really don't worry about it. My main concern these days is making sure that when i'm gone, my wife is well taken care of financially, as a result I keep my finances in order, along with having several large Life Insurance policies.
