I am not really scared by the idea to die and to become nothing if particles (because I don't believe in God or in another life) but I am not at ease with the idea to potentially not see anymore those who matters to me (which also logically means) that I am sure not ok at all with the idea of losing those I love and that I am concerned by that though I know that I have absolutely no powers over it.

The way I figure, when your time comes there's nothing you can do about it, so you may as well try to die like a man.
Maybe one of the reasons we fear death more when we're younger is we haven't done much with our lives, but as we age/mature and fulfill many of the things we wanted to accomplish (hopefully) it's much easier to make our peace and go gently into the night.

What bothers me about dying is I know I'm gonna run into at least a couple of muthafukkas from here outside the gates of heaven trying to sneek in. And I know one of ya'll is gonna fuck up and get everybody caught.

Unfortunately there are as many people afraid of just living as they are of dying. The biggest concern and pain is with the ones we leave behind. I don't fear death as there isn't a thing I can do about it. Day to day and living in the moment is what we can.

I can't afford to die because I have to save up for the things I would like to do before I die......!!!!!

You see, I think it tends to be more the oposed; when you'Re older, that you have build a legacy, a family and experienced a lot, you want to live to continue to enjoy these things. Younger people tend to care much less about death (from my experience, at least) because they have nothing to lose; they haven't built much, aren't owning much thing and tend to see death as a very distant concept as they are young and have in theory much more in front of them rather than behind like older folks have.
When you don't have much to lose and when death is only blowing in the far distance, it's easy to not be afraid of her but when you do have something to lose and could feel her coming, it's all another song.
