    Yes you are right, but I have never seen any of the big one's by houses.

    I think the biggest issue with wind energy is the amount of locations that you could have enough turbines to power a residential area.

    I've seen a few if these driving through TX. Seems like it would only be practical for wide open areas like that, direct benefit to farming and cattle etc.

    I've driven through west TX on I10 a few times. That stretch with the wind farms makes you feel very small.

    I've driven through west TX on I10 a few times. That stretch with the wind farms makes you feel very small.
    They are monstrous. Have a couple of pics on old phone, my friends little one was on the shoulders screaming "PINWHEELS PINWHEELS"
