I've driven through west TX on I10 a few times. That stretch with the wind farms makes you feel very small.
They are monstrous. Have a couple of pics on old phone, my friends little one was on the shoulders screaming "PINWHEELS PINWHEELS"

I'm all for wind farms, but like Lyle says, nuclear energy is more than effective and takes up a lot less space. It is perfectly safe in nations that are not prone to massive earthquakes. In places like the UK which are small and seldom have more than moderate earthquakes nuclear energy should provide most of the power.

Lyle is right, but I feel you must not put all your eggs in one basket, for your energy needs, any how
wind is free most of the wind farms in North Wales are out in the Irish Sea.
You could say, they are out the way.

Absolutely, and let's not forget the seas surrounding the UK. So much room for clean energy production. I am all for it.

Listening to nutters like Romney muttering about coal and digging for oil makes me sick. There is so much room for positive change. It would be so selfish to carry on producing energy and in the process choke ourselves to death.

If people want to have their children then they should give a toss about the planet around them. It is a beautiful planet and I hate to see it tarnished.
