There was a confused response by the government. The event is being politicised as it's so close to an election. Will this ever get mentioned again the day after the election? If Romney wins I don't think we'll hear about it again. If Obama wins it's 50/50, but the GOP will only contimue pushing it out of bloody mindedness. It's basically an irrelevance.

As a concerned citizen I am waiting for the transparency that this President promised us. I would like to know what happened and why those in danger were not assisted. Is that bad of me? Does that make me a bad citizen? I would like somebody to be held accountable for what happened, people died because air support was not called in. Tyrone Woods & Glen Doherty are heroes for going to help save their countrymen. Somebody dropped the ball and I would like to know who.

I know it's not the now former Africom General Carter F. Ham because I have heard from reliable sources that he was Hell bent on helping those troops. So beyond that we're looking at Secretary of Defense or the Commander in Chief.
