Wlad has chosen Johnathan Banks for his trainer.

It is an unusual choice but as long as Wlad is happy and it continues the Steward legacy in some form then good luck to him.

Rakhim Chakhkiev beat Andres Taylor by wide UD.

Rafal Jackiewicz - Rick Godding on Russian TV 2 right now.

    Klitschko - Wach is next.

It just started on EPIX here. Apparently they are also showing the Helenius vs Williams match as well?! Not sure if that one is live or tape delayed so trying to NOT know how it ended

Ugh, Lou Dibella has replaced Freddy roach in studio crew now . Why does he remind me of Dana White!

Wlad has known Banks for quite a while also Vitali and James Ali Bashir will be in his corner and Stitch Duran as well so I think they should be ok although everyone will miss Manny's presence.

JAMES ALI BASHIR: "WLADIMIR IS IN SUPERB SHAPEÂ…HE'S GOING TO STOP WACH EARLY" || FIGHTHYPE

JAB brings up a good point, Wlad did lose his father recently and that did not seem to affect his performance in the ring, the only worry I have with Wlad is that he tries too hard for the early KO and leaves himself open, but as smart as he is I believe everything JAB says. (JAB = James Ali Bashir just so you know)

It really is interesting. Banks will remain active and has a major oppurtunity to unhinge a solid prospect in Mitchell the following week, all the while training -the- man in the division

Has a world Champion ever fought his head trainer

Remember Howard Eastman chose McCracken as his trainer after he had beaten him. Robert has done well for himself with Froch so it may look like an odd choice at the time but it turns out to be a good move in the long run.

No kidding? I didn't know that. The circumstances here are tragic, but it is an interesting story line. There will never be another Manny but hope it goes well.
