No wonder he wanted Huck to stay at cruiserweight.
No wonder he wanted Huck to stay at cruiserweight.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Had Chris Byrd wanted to he probably could have been the best cruiserweight ever.....had he wanted to of course.
Eddie Chambers can still win some titles, I think his power will show a bit more at cruiserweight.
He hasn't taken alot of damage and could def pull it off. Its a choice if he wants to make better money (?) but settle on being a runner up at heavy or call himself a Champion. Cruiser is generally a pit stop and not many come down. I remember McCroy basically salvaging a career for a strap after bad run at heavy. Norris held his own at hvy but dropped too. Alot of his capability at hvy was playing the humming bird , somewhat like a Chris Byrd but it could be a two way street with punches coming faster etc. For all of the bigger guys Byrd faced I still think he was hurt the most in his early fight with Arthur Williams, a cruiser. And of course Ibeabuchi![]()
Great choice from eddie, I really like him he's a very good boxer but when you look fat and weigh 210 pounds then you are in the wrong division, he's just too small for heavyweight I guess that is where the money is though.. I hope he can make some good money at cruiserweight and win some titles too it looks like his natural weight.
Amazed it's taken him this long to realise he should be a Cruiserweight.... I'd like to think he'll do well there too....
With as fat as Eddie LOOKS one could think why hasn't he attempted to make 175? Then again I think after a certain point you just hit your limit to how low you can go and still be effective, because Byrd tried that as well and didn't do well at all so cruiserweight is a good choice.
I'm interested in how this works for Eddie
Doesn't look that fat at 210 to me. Against Peter he looked fat (but then again peter was a blob in that fight too!) Chambers weighed 223 lbs for peter, ridiculous! Chambers should maintain his fitness more. All this diminutive crap is just nonsense....by K2 standards he is small but by any other standard he isn't really...
Here's an extremely fit chambers @ 202LBS.
I wish him well though. Managed correctly he'l take a belt at CW. But he is capable of operating in both divisions with ease IMO. Just more chance of a belt at CW due to the lack of K2. Good fighter eddie though, id love to see him expose Seth Mitchell!

i think the reason he looks fat is because he has a big old donkey butt. He looks like he's wearing diapers under his trunks.
