Get the feeling Jr is tired of living in daddy's shadow. Didnt seem too impressed after the fight with Martinez, when instead of interviewing him, they brought up daddy, you could see it on his face, wasnt impressed at all.
THE SKY IS THE LIMIT NOT THE LIMIT IS THE SKY
On one hand I understand that he wants to be his own man but the problem is that he used his father's name to get so far ahead of the game as compared to the rest of the contenders, and to suddenly shun it seems ungrateful.
I don't think his father is the reason he lacks discipline but who knows maybe if he gets the sense that he doesn't have a safety net he'll shape up and be half decent. Nothing truly elite but a good B+/A level contender.

Wrapped in silk sheets since he was a toddler. Probably never had a single hardship in his life. Wants to explore the world of cotton. Plan B.
Can's see why he gets so much hate, heck he was 1 punch away from knocking out Marinez cold. Got battered black and blue yet still kept coming, he's earned his own mans status.

Hate? Wtf are you talking about? Is every thread an exercise in antagonism?

I don't know enough about the inside stuff to judge if it was a good or a bad thing but what I hope is that Chavez jr is busting his ass off while training and that he did dismiss his father only based on a "father-son minor feud".
