I'd like to see him gatecrash the Pacquiao Marquez post fight in-ring interviewsafter Manny wins and say "Either we fight next, or I roll and fight Sergio Martinez at 154" and then I wake up from a terrible dream.... Ha.

Part of me pretty much does not care. As much as I enjoy his technical gifts from offense to defense the guy has almost taken half his career off and has in so doing shit on what boxing legacy's rich history is all about. Imo he's a toxic sell out and shares a certain amount of blame as to why others in this era are coddled and pimped. As a fan of the sport I almost feel robbed or violated by the guy for not at the very least just fighting twice a year.

As far as Martinez he's scheduled to meet Murray in Argentina although I doubt he will be ready by then as he has not even had surgery yet. I just don't see Floyd accepting a catch weight fight. Martinez is not a big middleweight and Floyd's ego is to big. Plus he might have to pass Leonard in a hallway one day.

Trout and Cotto are fighting for the regular wba title and Floyd owns the emeritus version giving him the right to challenge for the regular title so that could be in play here. That is, only if Cotto wins. I don't believe he will as much as I want him to. Floyd needs a fight before then though. I mean Cotto could be off for 8 months more should he beat Trout.

    Slim pickings.

    Thats bollocks.
Pacquiao is just a soldier, the captain is bob arum.
If mayweathers ducking pac he is ducking every other top rank fighter.
If thats the same, tired old excuse you have then just say nothing.
pac ducked mosely after margacheato, ducked martinez when offered to fight at a catchweight, and just LOST his last fight..why would anyone duck this man.

Does mayweather need to rematch any of his opponents FOUR times?
Why is pac doing it with marquez?

Simple, because the majority of fans believe he lost three times AND its more money for BILLIONAIRE bob arum.

I dont think pac lost on three occasions, i believe it could have gone either way as pac was the aggressor in the previous outing.

The best counterpuncher in the game is floyd.
    Faster than marquez.
    More accurate than marquez,
    More defensive than marquez.
    Much smarter than marquez.

And you still want to see floyd fight pac? Complete mismatch.
If i was a pac fan i would pray he extends his contract in 2014 to 2020 so he can keep rematching marquez, hatton and perhaps REVERSE his LOSS to injured, broken ankle timothey bradley.

Sergio Martinez. That's pretty much it. I don't need to see Floyd fight Manny. It's tired. All the other players are at Top Rank.

Martinez is fighting an opponent-type fighter, supposedly an English guy called Murray, in Argentina in April. I don't think Golden Boy will let Canelo fight him next, if they do move Canelo up in class it'll probably be Cotto. I think Floyd might fight the Berto-Guerrero winner next.

First I cant believe some people still pine and lament over Manny/Floyd. I'm convinced that someone could start a thread about peanut butter and that long dead fight would come up.

Murray is not just some English fighter. He's a very good one. Nobody ever heard of Darren Barker either and he almost derailed the train but could not quite hold it together and Macklin even did better.
Both did much better then Jr did. Floyd could ruin Oscars plan to wait until in his mind Cotto is ripe for the taking. Floyd will wait on the outcome also imo. I have a feeling Austin will spoil both their plans.

If Cotto beats Trout a Cotto rematch is another strong possibility for Floyd but it definitely won't be Martinez or Manny and I don't think they'll put Canelo in with him just yet. So it's the most credible Golden Boy/Haymon fighter or it's Cotto again.

Roger Mayweather says Floyd will be back soon, and he would whoop pacquiao and Bradley.

He won't get to fight either of them.

I can see the Bradley-Arum relationship ending soon due to broken promises. Bradley won't get a 2nd Pacquiao fight, he still can't sell a bean and they can't get anyone to fight him. I think he'll leave Arum by mutual consent and he'll sign to fight Floyd.

I can't see Arum agreeing to let Bradley go and give Floyd and GBP a credible opponent to do a big PPV with. It's not like he's known from letting people walk away from their contracts.
