Thread: Abner Mares vs. Anselmo Moreno Saturday night fight/chat thread

    I personally don't think it was a close fight as far as points go...

    However to the eye and it first glance Moreno made it a really good fight.
    I had the fight 116-110 as well. Close as far as action goes and what we saw but at the end of the day I believe it was a clear win for Mares.


    Gotta give the kid a lot of credit. He trained hard and it showed. He should be getting nothing but praise and respect at this time. "Chemito" Moreno is an outstanding boxer with a good set of skills.

    With all that being said I believe Nonito beats Mares. Nonitos speed would be the factor.

    For now though take a good rest kid get some family time and enjoy yourself.

    Mick I go for Donaire, a well I feel he will box Mares head off , Nonito will ko him he is far to open
    and that's one thing you don't want to have, against Donaire is not much defence.

    I agree. If Mares tries to rush him like he did Moreno, it'll be a short fight because Donaire will tag him with powerful counter-punches.
