Reliable sources have informed Boxingtalk.com that undefeated pound for pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr will face welterweight king Carlos Baldomir on November 4. The Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, will host the bout which will broadcast live on HBO PPV. Mayweather, his advisor Leonard Ellerbe and Sycuan's Willie Tucker and Glenn Quiroga were unavailable for immediate comment. Much more to follow, until then Remember where you heard it first! I guess we will just have no idea until there's an official announcement. Kevin Cunningham was saying just yesterday that the Spinks fight was 99% set....

I think the confusion could be because Floyd wants to fight one of them now and one in Feb and maybe does not know in which order? I'd much much prefer this fight than Spinks and I would give him credit for it,Baldo is no Tony but I hope he catches Floyd,I want to see if a natural WW can hurt him in the way Collazo did to Hatton. It has to be said though,Boxingtalk is hardly reliable,I'm sure they said the Floyd-Spinks wa done and they do change their minds alot. All in all,this is getting bloody annoying,I just want to see some dam fights being made!

Baldomir is a natural welterweight and more , he will be 6 pounds heavier that Mayweather and Mayweather can´t hurt Baldomir with only one hand.

It's a very dangerous fight for Mayweather he doesn't know what he is doing.
Baldomir is from Argentina he was very very very.. poor.
If you look at his record you would think he has lost some fights but it's wrong.
He had to lose several times in order to earn money .....
Men ..... you don't know Baldomir.......
Look at Baldomir-Gatti fight and you would start to undrestand...

Baldomir is slow?? yes...he is slow....
But Mayweather can't hurt Baldomir , I have seen Baldomir so many times...
