The creation of the state of Israel was a terrible blunder and has only ever caused trouble in the region. Countless wars, the continued degredation of the Palestinians. It was absurd to create Israel. On that basis you should really kick out the whities in America and create a new United States of Native Americans. Then you look at Israel today and they are using the same methods that manifest destiny Americans used. We will take land by force, we will degrade you, manipulate you. There will be no peace until we have all the land. Those that live within our borders shall be denied rights and work as serfs. It is exactly the same and the world created this and though it was a good idea? It is a blot on the planet.

That is a very simplistic and ill informed description of a propaganda based media construct that no doubt feels very comfortable to you and your view of the world. It allows for both a knowing sense of superiority, an opportunity for self hatred and comes with a winning side order of self righteous indignation. It paints a world in which you can ignore refugees (not including the 850 000 expelled from Arab nations between 1948-1951) pretend that despotic warring Arab leaders who practised torture and denied basic human rights, including the opportunity to vote from their own citizens, never happened. It does nothing to acknowledge the rights of atheist, Christian and Muslim citizens the chance to live in a safe country free from attack and furthers your own racist agenda in aligning a multi-racial country in which thousands of Black Ethiopian Jews are afforded the exact same status as white people with your previous assertions that Israel is like South African apartheid or the extermination of Native Americans.

The objection and disdain for non muslim people is a common place phenomena across the middle east and in countries conquered by Islam but the idea of tolerance and acceptance is enshrined into the very idea of Jewishness that has benefited your own culture here in England since Medieval times. This does not make the bombing of civilians by a political state acceptable but neither does it excuse your own easy portrayal of anybody who is not English,American,or Israeli as victims.

When a race of the people, have been persecuted and exterminated you would think, they would not

Israel was created out of the British mandate. Israel have played by the rules, they got attacked, they whupped the dog shit out of everyone who attacked them & they took the high grounds away from their enemies to protect their citizens and now we hear a lot of whining from these enemies who want those lands back. Why? Well they want those lands back so they can attack Israel again. Israel has been as peaceful as it can be considring who surrounds them.

Palestinians launch hundreds of rockets into Israel and Israel uses a defense system to blew up the rockets and then does a surgical strike to take out a Hamas Military leader. Who's attacking the citizens? Hamas. Who is trying to play by the rules? Israel.

Why on earth would you support the Palestinians? They only exist as a rallying cry for the Arabs & Persians neither group has offered any REAL help to them.

Lyle I don't take issue with anything in your post but the settlements are a different issue. I support Israels right to defend themselves and do it pro-actively with pre-emptive strikes if they deem it necessary but I can't support an active attempt to expand their borders through settlements.

Demographically the Palestinians are winning. In a few years an Israeli minority will be ruling an apartheid state that will eventually go the way of South Africa.

It's a subject of great debate whether their system is even currently switched on. It wasn't supposed to be operational yet and they're probably just saying it's switched on. Certainly there weren't any more Israeli casualties four years ago, the last time things got this enflamed.

Surprise, surprise. When Soviets took over Poland after defeating Germans, they recruited lots of Jews into the new communist puppet regime. One of the first thing they did was setup concentration camps for German civilians and for local people whom the communists considered enemies. The inmates were no "nazis" or "collaborators", just innocent civilians, women and children.
American journalist John Sack wrote a book about this inglorious and unknown episode of Jewish history "Eye for an eye", only to be called antisemite... which is funny because Sack was Jewish.
Actually the title of that book is misleading, or rather complete BS because the word "revenge" implies that justice has been served. In reality, I don't think 1% of the inmates deserved to be imprisoned, starved, tortured and murdered in those camps.
BTW the commander of the most famous camp - Salomon Morel fled to Israel before the new democratic Polish authorities could sentence him. Israel successfully resisted his extradition to Poland.
