Speed kills. DeMarco isn't skilled enough to time someone like Broner either. It was a good foray into the lightweight rankings for Broner. However, I still would like to see him clean house before moving up, unless there is a lucrative fight at junior welterweight.

Broner flat out spanked DeMarco, he dominated in every way. Some of you were hoping for a different outcome but knew it was a long shoot.
I did see a little ray of hope for the future when Broner decided to ditch the sideshow routine, post fight. It was good to see Broner acting like a Champion and a man. If he continues to show respect for the everyone, he will wind up bigger than Mayweather.
He's smarter than Floyd and he's going to make a lot of money when he figures out it's better to have all the people coming to see him win instead of half of them coming to see him lose.
Now, if we could just do something about his entrances. LOL.

There are a LOT of people in and around that weight class for him to fight. At this stage of a fighter's career, it's always fun to see the path taken. Is Matthysse too big of a jump in class?

That would be a great step and the fight could easily be made since Oscar promotes both. Problem is I'm pretty sure that GBP is gunning for Rios/Matthysse but that means dealing with Bob.

Broner isn't bad at the "hit" part of boxing, he does have fast hands, but he's nowhere near Floyd's level when it comes to the "not get hit" part. Put him in with somebody like Garcia or Matthysse and he's going to take a few punches. He's fun to watch though.

He is talented...but he is not close to Mayweather, in not only his defensive prowess, but his overall skill set at the same stage of their careers. But hey...HBO will ride this kid as far as they can...hell, i'm sure by his next fight or two they will say he is better than Floyd.
