Don't get me wrong, I think Broner is a real talent and has potential to be something special but Demarco really offered anything in this fight and that is a CREDIT to Broner because he made this look easy and Antonio had no plan B.

I would like to see ricky burns take on boner, although would like to see burns have some a couple of real defences of his title first but by then maybe broner will have moved up again....

    Broner could be something special.
Ignore his out of ring antics and look at the skillset he has in the ring.
He could have another 12 years of boxing in him.
And with HBO thats alot of money.

Sent. Seconds after this post. You can wear it for 25 posts. Now stay classy son.
You didn't even read the terms did you? I offered a month, no pics but hey 25 posts works

Just rewatched. Broner was purposly toned down in pre showm especially that interview with Merchant prior. Almost humble and sedate. "Where I come from looking up to a man is cool...but trying to straight out be that man, that ain't cool". He fought a solid fight and should move to 140 right away. I gave DeMarco one round and can say nothing for him but he fought a wrong fight and took a thorough thumping.

Lol I never saw those terms. Oh well all in good fun. Yeah Demarco got shit kicked. They should play for Burns now or move on for another trinket at 140. His out of ring antics have never bothered me.

Aren't you getting a little too old for sig bets Spicoli, lmfao.
No worries Bro, Broner is going to be looking at a whole new level of competition @140, and he's going to be fighting pugs who unlike DeMarco can hurt him.
Never too old bro. I ask myself that also while spending hours in a day posting in a boxing forum It'll be interesting at 140. I wasn't impressed with his defense really, bit stiff and does wait on the inside looking to rip off counters. His constant facial expression, eyebrow raising etc are annoying as shit lol.

btw, how in the Hell do you 'open' a gif so it shows
    Put [img][/img] around it.

Ricky will have to cross the pond. I'm sure he'd want that exposure. I've never understood all the chatter over his antics outside the ring. He's a bit of a goof. So what.

i guess he would... hopefully he can make himself famous enough to get a shot at him, tv guys ket saying broner should go up to 140 so who knows how long him and burns will be at the same weight it would have to be a interesting deal for both guys to make it happen...

broner fighting burns in glasgow would be hilarious though, just to see the crowds reaction to broners ring walk :S

That's why he does what he does.

Broner flat out spanked DeMarco, he dominated in every way. Some of you were hoping for a different outcome but knew it was a long shoot.
I did see a little ray of hope for the future when Broner decided to ditch the sideshow routine, post fight. It was good to see Broner acting like a Champion and a man. If he continues to show respect for the everyone, he will wind up bigger than Mayweather.
He's smarter than Floyd and he's going to make a lot of money when he figures out it's better to have all the people coming to see him win instead of half of them coming to see him lose.
Now, if we could just do something about his entrances. LOL.

There are a LOT of people in and around that weight class for him to fight. At this stage of a fighter's career, it's always fun to see the path taken. Is Matthysse too big of a jump in class?

That would be a great step and the fight could easily be made since Oscar promotes both. Problem is I'm pretty sure that GBP is gunning for Rios/Matthysse but that means dealing with Bob.
