    Me too.

Maybe it was part decent shot part 20 odd minutes of realising that he aint got it no more that was keeping him down?
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Certainly possible. He might have just known he was going to end up back down again.

Ricky needs to leave it behind and start a new life with that gorgeous gal already. No need to become an opponent and hang onto scraps thinking he has to prove something to himself, or the fans. Head up...call it a day man.

I'm still musing why he didn't take a medium level tune up. He is still a bit delusional. You have to take a tune up to see what you have and though he was apparently slightly up, he still lost. There was no need for this. He was out 3 and a half years and that is a crazy length of time. Tyson fough McNeeley and though a bit of a joke, that was the correct approach. Hatton aimed too high too soon and wasn't physically or emotionally well to begin with.

    hatton should have fought smarter.

    senchenko wasn't attacking him...

hatton was winning the fight and could have been sure of a hometown decision in a close fight. he didn't need to be swinging wildly trying for a knock out. he could have coasted to a decision win from the 6th on.

he even just said he thought he was 4 rounds up!

If he was coasting to a decision then he wouldn't be Ricky Hatton. As for home town decisions basically fuck off.

Ya know, been hit with enough and seen enough of hard body shots and what it takes to get up. More than anything, it takes heart. I just don't think he still has it for the sport at the warrior level. that was what was most sad to me.

Yeah, I wouldn't really know. I know they hurt from the odd sparring session way back when, but that's not exactly the same thing .
