OK everybody you read Tito's posts nobody beats a "Prime" Tyson, nobody, he was unbeatable..... which was why he only held the title for how long again But Buster Douglas was class let me tell you!

The best fighter Tyson fought before his career was updended by the 42-1 underdog Buster Douglas was LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Michael Spinks just allow that to sink in for a bit a light heavyweight was the "best opponent" for this unbeatable human wrecking machine......oh but Wlad's division is weaker . And after prison Tyson routinely picked the easiest path to success...although he attempted to cash in vs Holyfield and Lewis he was simply not an elite fighter after prison. Would he have caused for interesting matchups vs other fighters, certainly, Riddick Bowe, Shannon Briggs, Tommy Morrison, and Ray Mercer top among them.

Could Wlad beat a "Prime" Tyson...meh maybe. Could Wlad beat a post prison Tyson? Absolutely.

Prime tyson never faced anyone remotely comparable to K2 so it is all sheer conjecture and speculation! There is no evidence to as to how Tyson would handle them at all because he never fought anyone of prime K2 calibre in his pomp! What evidence do you have that tyson would walk through these two specimens? Who has he beat that is as good as 3 time champ and iron chinned VK?

Point me to this Wlad like linear champ that he walked through? Yeah younger wlad was more vulnerable but so was tyson....Difference is wlad was good enough to better himself and is near inpenetrable these days.

Given the weakness of the 80's competition, and the inability of Tyson to comeback in any serious fashion after the Buster Douglas debacle, the Tyson myth of supremacy against journeymen fighters and under par contenders in the chaotic alphabet soup era of multiple governing bodies during the 1980's and 1990's leaves Mike Tyson with many question marks over him!

He was then humiliated by Holy twice, went life & death with B level ruddock twice, Totally outboxed by Lewis, yet he's gunna walk through these two! Laughable. One thing we do know for sure...Old tyson would have probably been killed by VK had that gone ahead! And im not being flippant!

There's several schools of thought regarding Tyson and the Klitschkos:

a. Tyson would have no chance against either Klitschko.
b. Tyson would mop the floor with either Klitschko.
c. Tyson would definitely beat Wlad, but would have a harder time with Vitali.

Interesting... I've never heard anyone say Tyson would beat Vitali, but maybe not Wlad.
That alone says people in general feel Vitali would have the better chance.

I'm in the "C" group. Wlad's chin would prove disastrous against Tyson. And Wlad appears to fight with fear of getting tagged. One thing is to "hit and not get hit", the art of boxing. Quite another is to spend 12 rounds pawing at an opponent, hoping not to get smashed. In Wlad's case, his opponents have come in with fear of their own, making for horrible fights.

Lyle, you say I'm sarcastic. But I've offered two basic reasons why Wlad would have little chance against a prime Mike Tyson. All I've gotten in return is a quote from an old Mike Tyson, and a post somewhere saying that Tyson is retarded. Hardly a convincing counter-argument. It doesn't matter how long Tyson reigned vs. how long Wlad has reigned. Yeah Tyson burned out. What does that have to do with who would win in a head-to-head contest. In the end, Wlad will have the better career and better numbers. But again, how does that translate into Wlad beating Tyson?

So which is it was Lennox Lewis "old & washed up" or was he in "top condition" vs Tyson because in the fight right after that 1 calendar year later vs Vitali, Lennox was said to be "old & washed up".....so which is it fellas

All Holyfield had to do was roll & counter the entire night, those fights showed what a ring general Tyson WASN'T because he never adapted to Holyfield. Fantastic chin, Evander was said to not have any power and he gave back to Tyson better than he got. Look at Tyson's KO's who the fuck are those guys? You're telling me Wlad doesn't have the brains or the skill to fight better than Bruno? Better than Ruddock? Better than Smith who was more than a tad chinny in his own right?
