This is on Box Nation, another 5 am finish for me. Go Cotto, he is the smaller man but we all like the under dog right?

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I don't believe Cotto is the underdog, at least not in the betting odds. Trout has the WBA "regular" junior middleweight title so it will be up to Cotto to take it from him, but Cotto is hardly the underdog, that would have to be Trout, and I don't think this fight will go "swimmingly" for him.![]()

This is a classic upset the apple cart fight. I'm sure that Cotto/Alvarez has already been penciled in for May 5th. Trout has looked bored in some previous fights. This is different. He views it as a torch pass or coming out party and has the fundamentals and a pretty sound boxing brain based on his commentating at fights recently. I'm a hard core Cotto fan and also think Trouts timing for this fight is perfect.
I sort of agree, and it's possible that Cotto has lost a step or 2 after all the wars he been in. The thing is, how good is Trout? And how will he do against a world class opponent like Cotto, who's been there done that already. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
I think Trout is being way overlooked by most of you guys. He's no prodigy but he doesn't need to be in this fight. He has a good enough jab and reach advantage to control this fight. Cotto will start throwing low blows around the 4th round. Trout will win on the Saddo scorecards, but not on judges score sheet. If Cotto wins this convincingly in my book it's a very solid win. It's actually pretty brave for a comeback fight.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
I see Cotto giving Trout a lesson here. It's a great fight, but I've seen Trout a few times and I haven't seen anything that makes me think he can beat even a 50% Cotto.
Cotto is a better fighter, at light-middle he's strong he gave Floyd a good fight, I have not seen a lot of
Trout, but he is undefeated and hungry. I go for Cotto but it may not be easy,! could be a good fight
this one.![]()
Another good fight ,this i think will be a pretty close one, hope Miguel can pull out the win.
Glad its on Boxnation.
Trout is a good boxer, but Cotto is still elite. He's coming off a narrow loss to Mayweather in which he really pushed Floyd like no one has in years.
Its true Cotto could be getting a little long in the tooth, but I still think he will beat Trout, who remains unproven at Cotto's level.
Won't be easy, but Cotto is still Cotto.![]()
