Flintoff was always unpredictable as a player, sometimes he looked miles away but then he would turn it on and threaten to snap bats in half. Great motivator and leader too, tonight though is a world away and you hope if he is as badly matched as people have suggested that he is taken out cleanly and not permanently damaged.

Surely, surely, they have choosen the bummiest bum that ever was a bum. Surely. Not that that makes it a given for Flintoff. But they must have picked the worst possible opponent that can't fight at all. Much like Fred.

As expected it's very poor.

Freddie's overhand right looks like a girly slap and everything he throws comes from his arms. He has good reach though and he's the busier of the two.

I don't get all the hate really. He has very little to gain and loads to lose reputation wise, give him his props for stepping up and giving it a go.
