    Until then i'm reserving judgement.
The reason Price hasn't gone the distance has a lot to do with the fact that he has great stopping power. He stopped Audley in less time than it took Haye, McDermott with none of the trouble that Fury took, those are hardly negatives. There is nothing to suggest his fitness would prevent him going 12 rounds and people going on about his chin because of one amateur fight years ago is getting a bit desperate now.

That maybe true but until he goes the distance i ain't changing my mind. There is nothing to suggest that he will go the distance aswell. It can go either way! Unless you know something we don't all know? Like your his coach?

Like Inuit said. If you ain't got the gass you ain't punching hard!

Don't get me wrong these are only criticisms. I'm not being negative. Price comes across well in interviews. I don't dislike the fighter. He does have good stopping power. I do like the guy. But i ain't no fan boy. I keep a level head when watching a fight. But Audley. That was just a pay cheque. How did that test him atall. He needs an opponent that tests him. An ideal fight prime Vs prime Mike Tyson Vs David Price. Or an Even prime Foreman. See who has the greatest power.

The issue that concerns me the most about team Fury is their reluctance to entertain a fight with Price. Forget the discussions about who they have fought, because history has shown that is no barometer for a future encounter.
I like Fury, and he's taken some good, testing fights thus far, but if he is serious about facing Vitali or Wlad next year he needs to step up in class in a huge way in the future. Whilst people carp on about the likes of Chisora and Johnson as decent opponents, they are missing the point that however good they are in their own right, their fighting style is about as far removed from a brother K as it is possible to get.
Fury has made a name fighting smaller, lethargic heavies who are not too heavy handed. In Vitali he has a busy power puncher of comparable size.
What could Fury do to prepare? Find a technically adept, tall, rangy, power punching boxer who will be busy enough to push him. I can't think of any current heavyweight that would be better preparation than Price, which is why it baffles me that team Fury aren't chasing this to the ends of the earth.
    Fury needs Price.

Fury is simply following the David Haye gameplan: only fight risky fights if he is facing a Klitschko. He won't face Price, unless he's cashing out, or the fight makes s$nse.

From what I understand, if Vitali retires, which at 41, which there is a good chance of, the title will become vacant, and Fury will go against the winner of Bermaine Stiverne and Cris Arreola. That's a fight I'm more interested in seeing.

A little harsh there on Haye. Who else should he have fought? He took on Ruiz and Valuev and won a strap. Both are a cut above the usual dross and have been world champions.

I hope Vitali does retire, and I think Arreola against Fury is a cracking matchup.

Price has done well for himself and I am impressed with his power. Price also comes across well I interviews whereas Fury does not at times. I still prefer Fury but think Price should take on the Klit brothers first in 2013. Fury has got time on his side and needs to get more confidence. Fury was in shape but he fought within himself and needs to be tested against someone who is trying to win against him.

Fury or Price would beat Adamek.

I think there are many top ten heavyweights that Haye could fight, and he would be favored over most. Adamek, Chambers, Arreola all come to mind.

Fury has fought stronger opposition than Price, and is 5 years younger. If he's taking a "non-risk" path then what is Price doing?

Price is moving equally slowly. He's still fighting at the British domestic level.

It's my primary criticism of the heavyweight division. There are just a lot of good fights to be made that do not include the KBros, but aren't made because it makes more financial sense for a top fighter to lie in wait until a title challenge with the Kbros opens up. By the way, it makes perfect sense for careers; I'm just a boxing fan, and I would love to see guys like Fury and Arreola mix it up.

Recently, Pulev beat Dimitrenko, Adamek beat Chambers and Arreola is set to face Stiverne, but who else of the top ten/fifteen is facing each other?

I recall that Fury wanted a fight with Boystov, which is the exact kind of fight I would be excited to see.

When fury offered price the fight, Maloney said they couldnt because he was contracted to sky then that turned out to be bullshit. Go back a page and read the link I put up.

Prices last 3 fights have hot progressively worse whereas Tyson Fury is winning new fans each time he fights because everyone can see the improvements he ks making with each fight nd is now a genuine contender whereas Price is knocking about with British level journeymen in their 40's.

David Haye didnt want to fight Johnson a few years ago when he moved to heavy. Beating Johnson convincingly over 12 is far more impressive than stopping Skelton in 2. Price had some jittery moments when Skelton came forward. There is a reason Maloney wont move him up in class, hes shit scared of that jaw. Its like having a Ferrari with glass tyres.

There are links all over the internet that contradict what both camps have said. If you believe any one of them, then you'll love these magic beans I'm selling...

Price didn't have jittery moments when Skelton came forward, apart from in the eyes of the uninitiated and the poisonously biased. Still, at least Skelton came forward, unlike Johnson.

I don't want to criticise Fury for the Johnson fight, because last minute opponents are hard to find, but I'm confused how anybody can be impressed by a landslide victory over an opponent who doesn't fight back and whose sole claim to fame is he went 12 rounds with the champ years ago and didn't get knocked out whilst throwing no punches then either.
