I do not drink, take drugs, have late nights out in town, but I have abused my knees by playing too much football whilst they were injured. I do not regret it because it was fun at the time and i would do it all again.

My knees are knackered as well,! more abuse riding a motor bike like a fucking nitwit, and falling off

It's a tricky question and different people would have different answers. For me when I was younger and far more sociable I always thought it was about being sociable and having a laugh, but I realise that I never had any fun. Everything I ever did was too much and too harsh. Not to others in any meaningful way, but certainly to the self. I've never taken any prisoners regarding me. There are no Geneva Conventions there. I did it for a variety of reasons and on the whole you have to put yourself through things and if you come through then fine and if you don't, then perhaps like YB suggests, you got what was coming to you.

Yes Miles I got what was coming to me, I enjoyed the ride if we could change things but we can't,
