You wont until Maloney bites the bullet and puts him in with anyone decent. His last few opponents have got progressively worse and its not by accident.

Like someone else has mentioned, he did get dropped alot in the amateurs but in the amateurs theres no journeymen bums to build a record against, its all fairly evenly matched. Price is learning nothing and his being hyped as the next big thing in the heavies is going to be an embarassment for British boxing to go along with the americans old saying of British heavies as "horizontal".

I have read an interview with Price and he is trying to rubbish rumours that his chin is bad by just passing it off as it was just in the amateurs, then he reels off some fights he got hurt in and I was surprised by how many he mentioned, he made it sound worse.

I can guarantee that Maloney is green with envy about how Furys team are able to test him against decent world rated opponents but hes stuck tentatively pitching Price against terrible, old, tired, British level journey men.

Oh and as for butterbean. Sexton wouldnt have got in to the 4th against him. I remember he came over and ruined Shane Woolas, a british fighter who wasnt great but he still did it quicker than anyone else, including a young Danny Williams.
Oh yeah man fury's chin compared to price's is iron, I mean he totally wasn't nearly decapitated by some non puncher with 5kos to his name...
Fury might not be Oliver McCall or Jake La Motta but his team are confident enough in his ability to test him against better opponents, than Sexton, Harrison and Skelton
Are you for real here? Fury hasn't actually been in with a live body other than Chisora. McDermott had him in all sorts of trouble twice, and Price destroyed him in 1. I'm not saying Price is decapitating world beaters, but he hasn't had as many fights as Fury and Fury fights some shockers. How can anyone justify fighting Martin Rogan? Rogan had been inactive for some time and yet Hennessy tells us it's a fight the fans had been begging for. Kevin Johnson is not a world class fighter. To be one, he'd have to throw punches. There is a reason Fury is carefully matched. Fury-Price is a 50-50 fight. I can't see either beating a Klitschko at this stage but I think Price would take Fury's head off.
