    Tyson,

All 3 fights were close with marquez.
Marquez feinted superbly and countered amazingly!

Just think what a faster, accurate floyd would have done...come on.

I'm glad. The two prima donnas couldn't come to terms on a mega fight, now they don't get it.

In another thread just a few days ago, I said how they already blew this fight as Pac lost a lot of his luster after the 3rd JMM fight and the Bradley loss.

Now it's really gone down the toilet.

straight up, floyd is a coward. pac may have lost but he has FAR more courage/sportsmanship than gayweather ever will....

i do think one good thing will come of this, it should hurt mayweathers ability to draw against guys like ortiz/guerrero now that they can no longer be billed as tuneups for pacquiao, and MAYBE that will encourage him to take a more realistic fight at some point

its true, it would have been sad to even see them fight after the bradley/jmm3 fights, the fight lost so much of its appeal after those, but now its over

should make jmm pacquiao 5 or whatever it is a bigger draw tho

    Pathetic.

floyd has never fought a top rank fighter and never will.

Lets all slate mayweather because marquez ko pac.

Floyd vs. Canelo should still have appeal

But other than that, you're right. All of the big names for Floyd aren't there anymore ... and he's not going to move up in weight.

Floyd will fight twice next year ... we'll see

Nobody wants floyd to fight marquez as it was so easy the first time.
Perhaps pac can still expose floyd in some way if they ever do fight but the issue is still bob arum and the millions he owes floyd.

i think mayweather alvarez would sell itself without the need to bill it as a tuneup for pacquiao, but i dont see mayweather being willing to fight alvarez at this point. I just hope alvarez doesnt become the new pacquiao and mayweather vs hatton 2 doesnt become a tuneup for alvarez...

i honestly wouldnt be surprised to see mayweather fight marquez again and claim alvarez is next to try to make money off the whole mexican crowd, i always thought mayweathers plan all along was just to use the pacquiao fight as a promotional tool for his easy money fights against outclassed/old opponents, and i think he thought pacquiao(or arum) would try the same thing, which may have been the case

Someone will become the new pacquio almost instantly as the hate for floyd mayweather never seems to go away.

Dont count out pac though as im sure he will come back stronger.

I never believed Pacquiao could beat Floyd but anything can happen in the ring.

With everyday that passes they lose more money on this fight if it ever happens.

I already know like 100 people who won't watch it.

Plus I took my money off the table last night, I'd rather see Marquez V Mayweather.
    You say tomato,
    ‘n I say …… it correctly.
