If he won by that vicious of a KO and walked though punches like that, every last one of you would be flaming him right now. Suddenly you're all Marquez fans. I was a fan of his when none of you were even talking about him. We've all seen so called perfect punches and clean shots, and we've seen our fair share between these 2. The counter right is JMM's bread and butter with Manny. He' landed it on him before. It would be one thing for manny to have lost balance, but he was KO's in a way that only a heavyweight fighter would have been. Those KO's almost never happen no matter how clean the punch in lower weight classes. If it was feasible, it would have come close to happening before. Marquez didn't even turn into the punch. Stop being blind idiots and for once analyze what just happened in front of you.

I was surprised as anyone over the ferocity of JMM's KO punch of Manny. But I've watched the video over and over again. Your assertion that Marquez didn't turn into the punch is wrong. As with his 1st knockdown of Manny, Marquez threw his whole body into the punch. The knockout was a "perfect storm" of Marquez throwing a powerful right hand, Manny coming in aggresively with his hands down, and the punch connecting cleanly on Manny's jaw. Not only that... the punch landed at its most dangerous point of the arc, where it was still a short punch. It's small wonder Pac was out.

I'm a fan of both fighters and no need to dis one or the other. Pac gave a spirited effort, which is more than I can say about the Bradley fight. Marquez just caught him with the perfect punch. PEDS or no PEDS, that punch was going to knock Pac out.
