The guy who wrote the story already knows that. But he's got a quote from Ellerbe saying Floyd might fight Marquez on Cinco. And that Arum is coming to the end of his career and wants to make lemonade out of lemons.

If you were Floyd would you rather fight Guerrero/Canelo or Marquez/Manny? Obviously the latter two make more money but just from a boxing point of view? You're Floyd, you've got three or four fights left and you want to minimise wear and tear and make as much as you can.

I don't get where Arum would come in for another Floyd Marquez fight, the promotion for their first was surely GBP and Mayweather not a top rank card right?

As far as wanting to put Manny in with Mayweather now, that is typical. Arum must want to cash out while the fight would still at all, I'd guess Pacquiao wouldn't be able to demand even half of what he could have just a year ago.

It'dlook good on Floy'd resume though. He couldn't be accused of ducking Manny (Ok, still can be accused of ducking prime Manny) and he could still fight Canelo on Cinco 2014 weekend, by which time the Canelo fight would be mega money too.
