Floyd does everything JMM does, better than JMM does. We saw that in the first fight and it wouldn't be any different in a rematch.

Whilst JMM is grown and better at welterweight than when he first fought Floyd, Marquez would not be able to beat Floyd who is way too good. JMM will probably have the 5th fight with Manny.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Nope Floyd fights Canelo next then maybe Bradley or Guerrero, or maybe Martinez
The Guardian is reporting that Arum is trying to make Floyd Marquez in May and Floyd Manny in September on the Mexican holidays.
The guy who wrote the story already knows that. But he's got a quote from Ellerbe saying Floyd might fight Marquez on Cinco. And that Arum is coming to the end of his career and wants to make lemonade out of lemons.
If you were Floyd would you rather fight Guerrero/Canelo or Marquez/Manny? Obviously the latter two make more money but just from a boxing point of view? You're Floyd, you've got three or four fights left and you want to minimise wear and tear and make as much as you can.
No...
Styles make fights and both are counter punchers. One has to initiate.
Yuck, really hope neither of those happen. Floyd would be completely wasting the year if he takes that route, from a fans point of view at least. I don't get where Arum would come in for another Floyd Marquez fight, the promotion for their first was surely GBP and Mayweather not a top rank card right?
As far as wanting to put Manny in with Mayweather now, that is typical. Arum must want to cash out while the fight would still at all, I'd guess Pacquiao wouldn't be able to demand even half of what he could have just a year ago.
In the long run I guess so, but for right now it'd just make Floyd look spineless. Pacquiao is coming off of 2 losses against much smaller men than Floyd has been fighting, and off the back of that KO against a guy who couldn't win a round against Floyd. Who knows if he's even going to bounce back to form at all, that was as good a one punch KO as I've ever seen live.
Especially given that Mayweather supposedly wasn't willing to make the fight out of principle over drug testing or dealing with Arum etc. To just put that aside and take the fight now for the lions share would kind of stink to me, although I'm sure it'd still be by far the biggest purse out there.
