Great post from a Pac fan. I like both fighters, so I was not overly overjoyed about Pac getting KTFO'ed. I was, however, glad the fight ended decisively and without controversy. It was tremendously entertaining while it lasted, and not one-sided in the least. Both fighters had scored knockdowns.

You have absolutely nothing to hang your head about. Pac has given us more than his share of great fights... and he's always come across as a humble, nice guy. Kudos to him for that. His personal life and troubles are his own... nobody else's business. Whether he chooses to retire, or fight on.... his legacy as an all-time great is already cemented. Marquez is also a personable, humble human being. He's great to watch fight... and I like him as a person also. If Pac had to lose to someone like that, who better than Marquez, who like you said had been victimized by a couple of very controversial decisions.

I can relate to your feelings, as I myself am a fan of most of our local fighters over here... and I feel their losses very much.
