Default Both JMM & Pac pass NSAC tests...

Now everyone can STFU and move on...

    What's the next excuse?

    I will say this though.
Roids in sports is like the elephant in the living room.
Everyone see's it, knows about it but nobody talks about it. Sad but true.

Post fight tests I really don't think are relevant Mick. Too easy to evade.
But, I agree with your sentiment. Suspicions are like arseholes...everyone's got one.
And everyone is plutzing because JMM put on what? 2-3lbs of muscle in a year? That does not mean anything.

Remember when Bob was against against any special testing? Remember when Bob had that excuse for Floyd when Floyd wanted the additional testing etc..? If it wasn't that excuse it was the outdoor stadium. Bob could have implemented any tests he wanted for Pac JMM 4. That's why I find this ridiculous....

I hope JMM doesn't give Pac another fight. Nothing to prove. He beat 3 times convincingly.

Way too much was put on 'look'. Dudes a three decade professional. It wasn't his muscle tone and shiney shoulders that trumped Manny. Some pros actually put the weight on 'officially' rather than come in 15 plus lbs over with handle bars and a 1st trimester paunch You cannot prove a negative no matter how hard ya try. And no, I don't believe in the Easter Bunny

Frankly, passing a piss test doesn't show anything one way or the other. Lance Armstrong passed more invasive tests than that for years, and he was a cyclist. Championship, HBO PPV boxers get paid millions of dollars, and can pay the right people to supply them with drugs that won't be detected by a piss test. While I still believe innocent until proven guilty, now I think unless a boxer takes random VADA tests, there is some doubt. The only boxer we know for certain that isn't on drugs is Nonito Donaire. Unfortunately, that's the state of affairs we're stuck with today.

well that's interesting because last year ariza said......

    Quote:
I haven't talked to anybody about the guy [heredia]. I didn't even know who he was until Victor Conte brought him up and it went all over the place. First of all, I don't know, maybe they can get a translator so they can understand this, but I've never said anything about Heredia. As a matter of fact, I didn't even know the guy's name until it was brought to my attention that there was people from Usain Bolt's training camp training him, which means more than one, not some fat Mexican in slippers, okay? I was assuming he had a training team, not that dude. Secondly, it was Victor Conte who outed him. I've never said anything about Heredia, Hernandez, or Guadalupe, or whatever his name is; I don't even know him from a can of paint and after I heard who he was, or whatever, I forgot about him 10 seconds after the phone call when I hung up the phone.

ALEX ARIZA: "I'M WILLING TO BET MY CHECK AGAINST HIS CHECK THAT MY GUY KNOCKS HIS GUY OUT" || FIGHTHYPE

also i know angel heredia was a government informant during the BALCO scandal where he ratted out everyone he worked with/supplied peds to. as a result of this he was granted leniency for his crimes...

but he did recently meet with jeff novitzky before the 4th marquez fight... novitzky is an FDA investigator that was involved in the BALCO case and was the person that helped heredia walk away free.

    Quote:
This year, Heredia met in Los Angeles this past week to discuss “what was going on in boxing” with FDA investigator Jeff Novitzky, of the BALCO and Lance Armstrong cases fame. To be clear, Novitzky, known in some circles as “the Steroid Cop” most likely is not discussing how to implement better testing in boxing. He is likely talking to his key witness about where the drugs in boxing might be.

In several interviews this week, Heredia also claimed after this fight, all of his fighters would be required to be tested according to WADA code year round testing. Which begs the questions: “Required by who? Memo? Novitzky? The terms of his leniency deal?”

    http://www.maxboxing.com/news/max-bo...emical-warfare

and apparently the cause for this meeting was a result of roach's remarks before the 4th fight...

    Quote:
Roach's remarks drew the attention of Jeff Novitzky, a government agent who has been investigating steroids in sports for years, including the BALCO case.

    http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...proof/1750233/

so all these remarks and rumors about heredia doing something illegal with marquez draws the attention of jeff novitzky who then meets with heredia to ask him about drugs in boxing..and right after heredia comes out with statements saying how any fighter working with him after marquez 4 fight needs to do year round testing...

also it's surprising to hear that EPO and Testosterone is legal in Mexico...

    Quote:
While Heredia maintains the legality of his work, it largely is taking place in Mexico where EPO and testosterone, two of the more popular PEDs on Earth, are legal. When Heredia declares his methods legal, one has to wonder in which country he is referring.

    http://www.maxboxing.com/news/max-bo...emical-warfare

it's even more interesting when you read that memo himself said that EPO and Testosterone should be made legal for all sports....

    Quote:
I believe we should authorize the use of epo, IGF and testosterone, as well as adrenaline and epitestosterone – substances that the body produces itself. Simply for pragmatic reasons, because it is impossible to detect them, and also because of the fairness aspect.

just some info i happened to come across.
not naive or gullible, but like to keep my mind open.
