No. The chin rests on the bottom of the face. It means you have a weak synapse if light jabs and 1 pound gloves are causing this. You might want to choose a different activity.Does this mean i have a weak chin?

Don't know. I thought you were getting hit high above the around the eye and forehead area and that maybe you were turning the temple into it like when a ball is coming at your face. Its probably instinctual if you have no training but light jabs to the chin causing 10 seconds of headaches would probably make me go for an Mri.

You're skull isn't supposed to take that kind of trauma, even the kind produced by just a jab
If you're being peppered by a jab, it breaks you're concentration and can really disrupt your focus and awareness.
Despite the fact that its not a power punch, its usually the fastest punch in a fighters arsenal, and the most difficult to anticipate.

If you've ever been concussed you may have lingering effects, it definitely sounds like boxing is not your sport.
You say tomato,
‘n I say …… it correctly.
Nobody likes getting punched
You are not suppose to like getting punched, thousands of years of evolution and you are working against it.
Jabs are the most important punch in boxing, they do not directly get you knock outs, but they still hurt.
Any blow to the head will hurt you and mess with your senses, taking direct jabs to the chin which acts a lever and will amplify the impact of the blow will hurt and is suicide.
Although you might of had the right intentions you are going about it in a extremely wrong direction, no fighter lets people punch them in the face, they aim to avoid the blow, deliberately getting hit in the chin is even worse.
You head hurts because you are doing a very silly and dangerous thing.

If you read the thread and this further replies, you would discover, he is getting his friends to jab him straight to the chin/jaw, he is making no attempt to block or move out of the way.
He is saying on the he gets head aches, the reason being he is getting repeatedly punched on the chin.

You said you had been considering an MRI for a while.
At least visit a doctor, listen to what he or she has to say, get an exam and a couple of tests done.
Jabs and 10 second headaches might be something you have to live with, but make sure!
Let us know what's happening, and stop letting people jab you on the chin, they might be enjoying it.
