Thank you for the enlightenment, BBB. I am sure many others here will be glad of it too.

I have some old British notes in my drawer and think I may well now be inspired to teach the world about British currency and in particular on the art of adding graffiti to the face of the British symbol of centuries of repression.

What symbol is that ? Darwin ? Shakespeare ? Sir Isaac Newton ? Florence Nightingale ?
The Bank of England make the only proper money in the world all other currencies are equivalent to monopoly money. I miss 1 pound notes.
