Whilst Abraham did OK, Groves and De Gale could step up next year and beat him on neutral ground.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I think Groves would have too much movement for Abraham but Groves chin will always be a worry.
I think Bika would beat Groves up, all those wild shots, somethings going to land sooner or later.
Bika and Froch would be a nice scrap.
Personally, I dont think Groves or DeGale are going to have a great impact on the division. Their best chance at a title is Abraham, they dont beat Ward, Kessler or Froch. Maybe go for Abraham, defend against a few old names, like Magee, Pavlik etc and wait for the others to get older. They just arent as good. Both seem fragile to punchers and with the exeption of Ward who has been dropped by light punchers, all the decent super middles have had very good chins.
Groves should fight either dirrells. Then we will be able to put his name with Abraham froch ward
This was a good win on Groves' climb up the super middleweight ladder. He did what he was supposed to do and he did it easier than Fonfara, or Froch. Abraham is a good fight for Groves so is Stieglitz etc.
Easier than Froch?
He had a more tired version ill give you that but he couldnt put a dent in Johnson and had a few jelly leg moments himself. Read nothing in to this fight, Groves will go nowhere with Booth. U til hes taught or learns himself how to move his head he will get found out. He thinks hes a big puncher and fought the first round like a complete novice. Even when he had Johnson on the ropes for about a minute, Johnson ended the same round on the attack and Groves desperately trying to get hit and he held alot in this fight too.
Compare that to Froch who controlled the whole fight. Groves is not in Frochs class, hes too vulnerable, let alone Kessler or Ward. Right now, Groves I think would beat Magee but I wouldnt be surprised if Magee stopped him.
Listen, in no way is Groves in Froch's class. That's preposterous to suggest, and I wouldn't dare do so. I like Groves though and see some potential in him.
Magee is actually a good idea as a choice of opponent for Groves.
Froch won his fight against Johnson by split decision, in case you forgot. Now, personally, I had Froch winning by unanimous decision, but it wasn't a complete blow out by any means. Johnson wasn't that much older against Groves here, coupled with the fact that Groves has about 1/4 the experience of Froch, and he gave a good performance.
