Ps3 problem

I bought a ps3 last weekend and i'm having trouble working out how to play games on it. I'm sure i sound like a dumbass but it's confusing me.

I turn on the console, i press the middle button to assign a controller and then i insert the game.

Nothing fooking happens.

The controller's port indicators just keep flashing at me before eventually stopping with none of them lit up.


After a while i get it working but it seems to take a bit of faffing around and i'm impatient as fook.

It's getting to the point where i can't be arsed playing it because it takes me ten mins to accidentally get the game to work . I manage to get it working but i never quite know how.

Can anybody help a retard?

go along to game on the menu and there shud be a disc symbol with the name of the game. press on that to load the game. hope thats some help

Make sure your PS3 is on the right channel for instance mine is AV2 and then press the select to stop the controller lights flahing and then follow Baby-Faced.... comments.

check and double check the wiring, be sure that your dvd is not scratshed, read the manual, and dont give up.

The remote was not working it needed to be re-charged.
